Time signatures are formed with the <timesignature/> element and the @top and @bottom attributes. For example,

  • <timesignature top="12" bottom="8"/>: \(\begin{smallmatrix}12\\8\end{smallmatrix}\)

  • <timesignature top="5" bottom="24"/>: \(\begin{smallmatrix}5\\24\end{smallmatrix}\)
