Section 45.4 PDF (XSL-FO) Options

These options affect the experimental conversion that produces PDF directly from XSL-FO with Apache FOP, without an intermediate LaTeX stage. This conversion is under active development. See Section 30.20 for an overview.

Subsection 45.4.1 Font Selection

The text font of the PDF is chosen with the

/publication/pdf/@font

attribute. The value latin-modern (the default) matches the fonts of the LaTeX conversion; the value alegreya is a book face for text-heavy documents. See Section 30.20.
